Prepared Environment

Our beautiful, inviting and thoughtfully arranged Environments play a crucial role in supporting the learning and developmental needs of the child. We ensure that our classroom Environments are safe, comfortable and well-equipped with specifically designed materials across different curricular areas. This motivates the child to happily spend the day learning in School away from parents.

Mixed Age Group

Our Environments have a good mix of children from different age groups. This mix-aged culture allows children to learn from each other. The older children reinforce the concepts they have learned by teaching their younger peers. This allows the younger children to model appropriate social and academic lessons by watching their older peers. The arrangement also teaches children to appreciate each other.

Planned Work-cycle

The comfortable 3 hour work cycle for the Foundation Program and 4 hour work cycle for the Pre-Elementary Program, gives the child sufficient time to grasp and practice the concepts taught in School. The child independently chooses an activity, completes it and returns the materials to their proper place during the workday. This promotes self-esteem as the child feels a sense of pride in managing the tasks independently.

Low Child To Directress Ratio

We focus on imparting quality education by following a low child to Directress ratio. In the Foundation Program one Directress is allocated to six Toddlers allowing us to create a stable academic foundation for the children. For the Pre-Elementary Program one Directress is assigned to fifteen children making it easier for the children to grasp important concepts that will help them in transitioning to Elementary School smoothly.

Continuous Coaching

We keep a watch on the progress of the child and provide correct guidance and coaching. We maintain a Progress Cards for the child which helps the child grasp the concepts at their own pace and not be burdened by the pressure of assessments. As coaches, our Directress act as role models and motivate the child to achieve the full potential. Granting purposeful attention is of core importance to us.

Overall Development

At AIS, we focus on the holistic development of the child by organizing unique indoor and outdoor activities that help the child inculcate the spirit of sportsmanship. We arrange for regular field trips and excursions that allow the child to correlate the lessons taught in School by making real world connections. We also conduct various co-scholastic programs like dance, dramatics, gymnastics and art to cultivate the child’s hobbies.
