Message from Principal's Desk

Having spent 48 years in the education industry and having come across various methods of learning could not imagine introducing any other method apart from the Montessori Method for our Toddler and Pre-Primary Program at AIS.

Through our various Montessori Programs that have been made available across varied age groups:

  • My Aim is to train students to be creative innovators and leaders without the use of grades, tests or homework.
  • My Objective is to focus on fostering hands-on, self-paced, collaborative and enjoyable learning experience.
  • My Mission is to teach students to start small with their ideas, to build them through experimentation and to solve the problems that come up along the way with a sense of stimulating curiosity.
  • Above all this My Vision is to develop Life Long Learning Skills for your child that can be inculcated right from his or her early childhood and Pre-School Formative Years.

At AIS this is done by instilling in them the seven pillars of self-directed learning to help them become more creative, adaptable and self-motivated:

  1. Independence
  2. Responsibility
  3. Self-Discipline
  4. Leadership
  5. Initiative
  6. Academics
  7. Lifelong Learning

Seeing the rate at which the world around us is changing and moreover, seeing the different kinds of new opportunities being created around our children, the concept of practical and lifelong learning is a must to keep up with the advanced technological innovations.

Unfortunately our traditional education system could have been acceptable in a different day and age where they encouraged rote learning and standardized testing. Now what the child needs is self-directed initiative, curiosity and social intelligence.

Let your child take advantage of the Montessori Curriculum at AIS designed to follow his or her own trial-and-error process and become resilient, which is required to develop your child’s capacity to become a creative innovator.
